My AMH is 0.6 but my AFC was 14 during baseline scan and now I genuinely don’t understand which marker mattered more medically during IVF planning. Has anyone else had this mismatch?

I’m honestly feeling really confused by how differently low AMH seems to get interpreted depending on the doctor 😕. My AMH came back at 0.6 which immediately shifted every conversation toward diminished ovarian reserve and IVF urgency, but then my baseline scan showed an AFC of 14 which sounded much more reassuring. Now I genuinely don’t understand how clinics medically balance these two things during IVF planning because they seem to be telling completely different stories about my ovaries. Has anyone else had low AMH with a surprisingly decent AFC and how did your actual IVF response turn out later?

This is exactly the kinda thing that would mess with my head too bc an AFC of 14 sounds reassuring, but then seeing an AMH of 0.6 makes the whole picture feel completely different. 😅
