I know PCOS can affect ovulation & fertility, but do all women with PCOS eventually need IVF to conceive?? or were some of you able to get pregnant naturally or with less intensive treatment? would really love to hear real experiences because google is sending me into panic mode 😭?
No definitely not 🙁 PCOS can make fertility more complicated but a lot of women still conceive naturally or with less intensive treatment like ovulation induction/letrozole before ever needing IVF. I remember panicking after googling too because the internet makes it sound like PCOS automatically equals infertility, when in reality severity varies sooo much person to person 😭
No not at all, alot of women with PCOS conceive naturally or with ovulation meds first and never even reach IVF. PCOS can cause infertility for some women but it definitely doesn’t automatically mean IVF.
I get this! I actually got pregnant naturally even with PCOS after some cycles of timed intercourse and meds :(( Not everyone needs IVF, some of us respond to simpler treatments. It really depends on your body, ovulation, and how severe the symptoms are.
I totally get this :/ I have PCOS too and was so worried about needing IVF :/ Some cycles were tough, but I was able to get pregnant naturally after trying lifestyle changes and less intensive treatments. It’s different for everyone but hearing others’ experiences really helped me not panic and feel more hopeful.
