Honestly the total cost can end up being way more than the “starting price” clinics first mention bc meds, scans, testing and extra procedures add up really fast 😭 One thing I wish I knew before starting is how mentally consuming IVF becomes too. Try not to overwhelm yourself learning EVERYTHING at once bc the process already throws a lot at you emotionally.
One IVF cycle can roughly cost anywhere between ₹1.5 lakhs to ₹4 lakhs or even more depending on medications, injections, embryo freezing, genetic testing and the clinic 😕. I genuinely didn’t realise at first how many extra costs can get added between scans, retrieval and transfer stages.
The cost of one IVF cycle can vary depending on where you’re doing it, but it’s usually around ₹1.5-2.5 lakhs in India, not including medication and additional tests. My tip for anyone starting IVF is to stay patient and try to stay as calm as possible. Don’t hesitate to ask your doctor questions, track everything, and take care of yourself physically and emotionally. It’s a lot, but you’re not alone!
