Transmural fibroids and endometriosis

Transmural fibroids are noncancerous growths that extend through the full thickness of the uterine wall, while stage 3 endometriosis is a moderate form of endometriosis characterized by deep lesions, ovarian endometriomas, and adhesions. Both conditions can affect fertility by altering the normal anatomy of the pelvis and uterus, which may interfere with ovulation, fertilization, implantation, or sperm transport. Stage 3 endometriosis can also reduce ovarian reserve and egg quality in some women. Although these conditions may lower fertility, many women are still able to conceive naturally or with fertility treatments such as IVF, depending on their individual situation.
