I’m trying to understand if this actually changes how treatment is handled or if it’s mostly the same with just extra monitoring… would love to hear real experiences!!!
I had a uterine anomaly too, and I was really curious about how it would affect the IVF process. My doctors did adjust the protocol a bit, with extra monitoring to make sure everything was aligned properly. I had more frequent ultrasounds and some additional steps to ensure the embryo would have the best chance of implanting. The treatment itself was pretty much the same, but there was a lot of focus on the uterus to make sure it could support the pregnancy. I know it can feel like an extra hurdle, but the monitoring really helped me feel more in control!
I’ve honestly wondered about this too 😕 Because it feels like uterine anomalies add this whole extra layer of uncertainty on top of an already stressful process. I’d really like hearing whether doctors changed transfer timing, embryo numbers, monitoring, surgery decisions etc based on the anomaly or if some ppl still went through pretty standard IVF protocols despite it.
