If you have a didelphys uterus, did it affect your periods or was it only noticeable during scans/pregnancy?

I’m trying to understand if this shows up in day to day life or if it’s something that mostly stays unnoticed unless you’re specifically looking for it… would love to know how it actually feels living with it

From what I’ve seen, some people with a didelphys uterus notice things like really painful/heavy periods, trouble with tampons, pelvic pain or irregular bleeding 😕 while others have absolutely no clue until a scan, pregnancy or fertility workup finds it accidentally. So it really seems to vary a LOT person to person.

I’ve honestly seen a lot of people say they had NO idea until pregnancy scans, fertility testing or random imaging for something else. But others did notice things like super heavy periods, pain, weird tampon issues or feeling like something was “off” for yrs before diagnosis. It seems really different person to person which honestly makes these uterine anomalies even more confusing 😭

I’m really curious about this too because I’ve read such mixed experiences 😕 Some people seem to discover a didelphys uterus completely accidentally during scans while others talk about painful periods, unusual bleeding patterns or pregnancy complications later. Would genuinely love hearing how noticeable it actually felt physically day to day for people living with it.

I’m genuinely curious about this too because I’ve seen some women say they had completely normal periods for years and only discovered a didelphys uterus during fertility scans or pregnancy 😕. Meanwhile others seemed to have symptoms much earlier, so it honestly sounds like these anomalies can present sooo differently person to person.
