I was already in pain walking into the appointment but was still told everything looks fine and I don’t know how to sit with that

I can relate to that feeling. When u are already struggling with significant pelvic pain, hearing “everything looks normal” can feel confusing rather than reassuring. Normal tests don't always explain symptoms, and they certainly don't mean the pain you're experiencing isn't real.

I totally get this feeling! When your body is clearly in pain but reports say everything looks normal, it leaves you more confused than reassured! I’ve had moments where I questioned my own experience because of that disconnect! It’s exhausting when what you feel and what you’re told don’t match at all!

I felt this so deeply because I've been there too. I was in so much pain, yet I kept hearing that everything looked "normal." It made me question myself, even though I knew something wasn't right. I suffered for far too long before I finally found the right doctor. The right doctor doesn't just look at your reports, they listen to your story, believe your pain, and work with you to make your life easier. Please don't give up. Your pain is real, and you deserve someone who takes it seriously.

I relate to this so much 🙁 I had so many appointments where I was in real pelvic pain, struggling to even sit through the consultation, only to hear everything looks normal. It honestly made me question my own body more than anything else because the pain was so real, even if the tests weren't showing the reason yet.

That would mess with my head too. I had such a hard time with being told things looked fine while still feeling something was not right. Normal tests and feeling okay are not always the same thing and that gap can feel so lonely. Did they give you any next steps or just send you home?
