Early diagnosis and specialised treatment can help manage symptoms, reduce disease progression, and address factors that may be affecting fertility. While treatment can't guarantee fertility restoration, identifying and treating problems sooner often gives people more options and can improve their chances compared with leaving the condition untreated.

Yes, it is possible to conceive naturally with both transmural fibroids and Stage III endometriosis, although these conditions can reduce fertility and make pregnancy more challenging. Stage III endometriosis is considered moderate disease and may cause pelvic adhesions, ovarian endometriomas, and inflammation that can interfere with ovulation, fertilization, or the movement of the egg and sperm. Transmural fibroids, which grow within the muscular wall of the uterus, may also affect fertility if they are large, numerous, or distort the uterine cavity, potentially impacting implantation or increasing the risk of miscarriage. However, many women with these conditions still achieve natural pregnancies, especially if their fallopian tubes are open, ovarian reserve is adequate, and there are no significant male factor fertility issues. The chances of natural conception depend on factors such as age, the size and location of the fibroids, the extent of endometriosis, and overall reproductive health. If pregnancy does not occur after an appropriate period of trying, a fertility evaluation can help determine whether treatment options may improve the chances of conception.
