If it’s just typical period pain, it usually stays around those few days n settles with rest or meds… when it starts showing up outside periods, getting progressively worse, or interfering with normal routine, that’s when it doesn’t really fit the “normal cramps” bucket anymore 😕 patterns matter more than just intensity… how often is urs happening?

Looking back, what is one decision you made during your infertility journey that gave you the greatest sense of control or clarity?

I’ve been reading how often these two can get confused on regular scans and it’s honestly stressing me out a bit 😅 if you were initially told one thing and later found out it was something else, how did that even come to light? did you need a different scan or a second opinion? and did it actually change anything for you in terms of treatment or outcomes?

I used to question this sooo much 😔 like is this “normal” or something more… but when pain starts affecting ur daily life, missing work, needing meds all the time, or feels way too intense… it’s not something to ignore tbh. Period pain shouldn’t take over ur life like that. What kind of symptoms are u dealing with rn??

if your cramps are severe, worsening, nd affecting daily life ,even outside your period that’s not typical “normal” pain. It could be endometriosis. u can’t be sure from symptoms alone, so it’s best to see an endo specialist early evaluation really matters.

Recently, I have been having painful menstrual cramps that seem more severe than what many refer to as being "normal." This issue is no longer confined to my menstruation as it is beginning to interfere with my day-to-day activities as well. There are days when the pain seems almost impossible to cope with even with simple methods.
Am I at risk for endometriosis? How will I know whether what I am going through is normal menstrual pain or endometriosis?
